Ponderosa Twilight (Pinus ponderosa)

Ponderosas inhabit the eastern (dry) slopes of the Cascade Mountains up to elevations of 9000.' Famous for their vanilla fragrance, you must stick your nose in the deeply-furrowed bark in order to smell it.
